Work, Eat, Sleep

The past few days I’ve taken off work, finally being my first vacation in a long time. Not a vacation I’d like to have, but it is one. So today I am back up and running working for Web Marketing Now and it will pretty much be one of those few days where I work 12 hour days just to get caught up in the massive amount of work I need to complete since I’ve been off.

Ever since the Globe and Mail published their article I’ve actually been receiving feedback and questions on this article and Odesk, so of course I answer them. Many people are wondering if Odesk is actually a good idea for joining up with. I can truly say yes it is. You are offered the safety of knowing if you do 40+ hours of hourly work you will get the money with the security of Odesk’s payment system. Fixed Assignments can be a bit more complicated. If the buyer chooses not to pay you because they are not satisfied with the assignment they don’t actually have too, but you are warned before the beginning of each of these assignments.

I’ve chosen to stick to hourly positions just because its safer then doing Fixed assignments, but I’ve never ran into a problem with any buyers.

Also the amount of testing and information available on Odesk allows you to stay informed of everything going on with Odesk. If you ever have any questions all you have to do is go to the oCommunity and someone will help you answer that question you may have.

Yes, Odesk can be a bit complicated when you first start using it, but when you dedicate the time and energy to learning the entire system you’ll be good. Take the Odesk Readiness Test (necessary on Odesk now) and many of the other tests available and you’ll be on your way to getting that perfect job that so many work so hard for. I’ve done it so why can’t you?
